Janaseva Sishubhavan in Kochi

Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer, brainchild behind Janaseva Sishubhavan, started this initiative to provide shelter, love and care of the unfortunate and homeless children in Kochi.

The mission of this institution is to rescue children from the clutches of goons and mafias in Kochi, who use these children to beg in the streets. Very often these children are subjected to physical abuse and mental torture.

Many of them are forced to amputate their legs and arms to look more convincing while begging.

Janaseva Sishubhavan with the help of police force and other non-governmental organisations saves these children from having a gruesome life and provide them with all the basic fundamental rights such as shelter, clothing, food, education and dignity.
